The Straw Mansion has been designed and built to look contemporary while still feeling like it has been standing for over 100 years. Straw Mansion’s woodcrafts share the same philosophy to look modern yet appear to be aged by time. Catherine and Mike work with a range of recycled timbers found from old farm sheds to native timber washed up on remote beaches. Each share their own character through their weathered faces which make beautiful crafts that remind us of the lost age of the pioneers.
