Catherine Mann is a passionate craftswoman and fully qualified joiner ,she has also studied design at Otago University and attended the prestigious Dunedin School of Art , graduating top of her class during her creative studies foundation year. Catherine has a workshop full of wonderful tools that most men would envy, not to mention she knows how to use them all. She loves working with timber , creating anything from sculptures to kitchens. She specialises in projects that require old fashioned techniques, that are made of solid timbers, new or recycled . Catherine did her apprenticeship in a small town work shop and thus learnt a wide range of skills.
